Personalised NEON EL Wire Name Canvas Art / 16”x12”

Created using a 16 x 12” box canvas as the base, these Personalised Neon creations start with a painted background; pink or blue clouding depending on your colour choice, and then using our neon el wire, is finished by spelling out your name in a gorgeous and swirly font.

Our aim is to make our neon creations look just as awesome switched off as they do when they are switched on, and we think that we pretty much nailed it on this one.

A completed ‘Personalised Neon Creation’ is very lightweight and weighs just under 300g including el wire and battery pack. There is no maximum to the letters you can have in the name, but we suggest using only one name i.e. first name or single word. If you are looking for more than one word, please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

Every neon creation is made to order, so please allow 5-7 days for your art to be completed plus a few extra days for delivery. As our creations are made to order, if you’d prefer a different background colour or even a different coloured ‘name’, please just get in touch and we’ll see what we can do. We stock our EL Wire in Blue, Orange, Pink and White.

Some info about EL Wire

EL Wire, also known as electroluminescent wire, is a stiff wire core coated with phosphor and then covered with a protective PVC sheath. When an AC signal is applied to it (battery pack), it glows an aqua (blue green) colour. We use El Wire that has a coloured plastic shell to make it appear in other colours, and it looks very much like thin neon.

• EL Wire is 'cold' - the wires generate no heat!
• EL Wire requires a driver/inverter (included), which require 2 x AA batteries. Fresh batteries work best, but you can use rechargeable batteries - it'll just be dimmer because the input voltage is lower.
• El Wire battery packs makes a very slight, high-pitched noise, but only some can hear it. Because our battery packs are only 3V, this is very low and causes the least amount of noise, however because we use box canvases as our base, the battery pack is tucked away inside, and only if you are in a very silent room with no other noise and holding your artwork close to your ear, may you be able to hear the noise. The noise is also louder when you have inserted brand new batteries.
• EL Wire has more than one mode: on constantly, slow flashing, quick flashing – just press the button on the battery pack to change mode.

UK - All Neon Canvas items are posted 1st class once completed. If you would like your package sent tracked and signed for, please get in touch and we will arrange for this to happen.

Everywhere Else - All Canvas Artwork will be posted 'Standard Post' once completed, this means that there is no tracking information available but we will retain proof of postage. If you would prefer to have your package tracked and signed for, please select the upgrade when ordering!

Rup & Forn accept all methods of payment.

For international orders, please note that we will complete all of your customs paperwork when shipping your order.

If you need to cancel an order, we would recommend that you try to notify us as soon as practically possible. For digitally printed orders, we are unable to refund any payments once printing commences.

Shipping from United Kingdom

We offer international worldwide shipping on all of our products.

Once your order has been placed and product created, your order will be sent to you using the best method for the size and weight of your package.

In the UK, our most commonly used courier is Royal Mail or UPS - standard UK delivery is 2-3 days. When posting via Royal Mail, we do not track your order but instead retain proof of postage. For smaller international orders, we use Royal Mail International - standard International delivery times vary, but are usually 5-10 working days. We also use UPS and DHL too, depending on where you are based, but regardless of who we ship with, we will always notify you of your tracking information (if available) and keep you informed with the progress of your order. If there is an option to send an order to you via UPS Express, you should see this when you place your order. UPS Express normally gets to you within 2- 3 days, anywhere in the world.

We will always insure your package for the relevant amount and deal with any issues that may arise from damaged packaging, lost parcels etc.

We try to keep the costs of shipping to a minimum, especially is purchasing more than one item, however if the shipping costs are significantly lower for us to send you your order, we will happily refund you the difference.

Returns & Exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details

Vintage Marquee Lights

In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we guarantee to exchange it or provide a full refund, providing you contact us within seven working days from the date you take receipt of the goods. Please email returns@rupandforn.com.

The item must then be returned to us within 14 days in its original packaging and in a re-saleable condition (we will allow longer for international returns as long as we know it's on its way)

Unless the item is deemed damaged or faulty, the return delivery costs are to be paid by you. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage and secure the item accordingly as we cannot accept liability for any item lost or damaged in transit.

On receipt of a returned re-saleable item, Rup and Forn will refund you in full within 7 working days.


Hand Made / Personalised Products

We can all have a change of heart, so in the event that you change your mind about a hand made or personalised order placed with Rup and Forn, we will do our very best to accommodate your amendments.

If your order has already been created and you wish to return the item, unfortunately you will be exempt from our standard returns policy, however if Rup and Forn can reuse any item that forms part of your order, we may be able to issue a part refund.

We suggest that you get in touch with us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or amend an order that you have placed for a personalised product.

It's okay. They signs are cute, but some of the letters don't really look right. The "a" in my son's name looks like an "o". I wouldn't buy again or recommend.


It's just like the photo, I like the writing 💕 but I expected more because the background is a little bit weird! Anyway when I turn off the light it looks pretty dope


Lovely looks amazing in my little boys nursery. Highly recommend to everyone looking for unique wall art for babies/kids room. There is a little bit of noise from the battery pack but you hardly notice it. The neon blue is such beautiful colour.
